Active ingredient profile

Bakuchiol – gentle plant-based alternative to retinol (vitamin A) – without irritating the skin, stimulates collagen synthesis, reduces hyperpigmentation, reduces wrinkle depth, improves skin firmness and elasticity, and improves the appearance of blemishes.
Vitamin C (Ascorbyl Glucoside) – very skin-friendly, stabilized vitamin C with depot effect, reduces fine lines, lightens dark skin spots, has an anti-inflammatory effect against pimples and acne, promotes collagen production, improves skin elasticity.

The Brightening Serum based on aloe vera gel to combat premature skin aging contains an effective combination of cell-regenerating vitamins A, C, E and B3 for a rejuvenated complexion. According to current studies, the botanical active ingredient Bakuchiol is just as effective as retinol (vitamin A) - but without its skin-irritating side effects. The active ingredient from the Indian Babchi plant reduces the depth of wrinkles, reduces pigment spots and improves the complexion of skin prone to blemishes. Vitamin C in a very skin-friendly, stabilized glucoside form, together with 4% vitamin B3 (niacinamide), strengthens the skin's own immune system, reduces UV-related skin damage and stimulates the formation of firming collagen. It ensures a more even skin tone with a lightening effect on pigment, sun and age spots. Multimolecular hyaluronic acid provides deep moisture and firms the skin structure. A synergistic antioxidant complex of vitamin E, sea buckthorn and licorice root soothes the skin and prevents environmentally-induced cell damage and inflammation.

The serum is free of alcohol, emulsifiers, preservatives and fragrances. Unlike products with retinol, this serum is also suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Packaged in a light-protected brown glass bottle with a pipette. A pump dispenser is also available separately.

Application

Spread about 2 to 3 drops on your face and gently massage the vitamin serum in. The treatment can be used under a facial oil, a day or night cream or under a face mask. In some cases, very sensitive skin may experience a tingling sensation in the first few weeks until the skin regulates itself. We recommend that you only use the serum every other day or evening to begin with. You should stop using it if irritation occurs. Avoid contact with eyes or wounds. Test the serum first on a small area of the back of your hand.

Wonderful

Positive surprise

My skin suffers greatly from the negative effects of blue light and involuntary secondhand smoke. The result is wrinkles due to cell damage.

Light and well formulated

I have to use it very carefully; unfortunately, my rosacea patches don't like it (they burn). Otherwise, I find it very non-irritating and well formulated. I recommend it as a starter for vitamin C.

Effective and soothing

I've been using the vitamin C serum for a while now, and my dark spots and blemishes are gradually disappearing, albeit slowly. In the summer, I use Myrto Sun Oil for sun protection to prevent the spots from reappearing. I'm satisfied and will order it again.
