What are the benefits of an organic hair treatment?

Hair is constantly exposed to changing, additional stresses: summer sunlight, sea and chlorinated water, but also winter cold and heating air strain the hair and dry it out. Added to this are often chemical hair dyes, permanent waves and heat damage from straightening irons or curling irons.

A regular organic hair treatment provides the necessary additional deep care for dry, stressed and structurally damaged hair. The myrto organic hair mask not only makes the hair supple and gives it a natural shine, but it also regenerates damage to the roughened hair structure. In addition to cold-pressed plant oils and strengthening, regenerating plant ingredients, our pomegranate hair mask contains a vitalizing composition of natural essential oils.

Why an organic hair treatment without emulsifiers?

The innovative formula of the myrto organic hair treatment is free of conventional emulsifiers. Why? Emulsifiers have the property of combining watery and oily substances. As a side effect, emulsifiers also react with the protective and hair-smoothing lipids on the hair fiber and dissolve them (wash-out effect). The roughened, porous surface of the hair fiber promotes further drying out and the penetration of harmful substances into the hair.

Our concept is based on a completely new approach: purely natural fruit fibers hold the oily and aqueous components of our recipes together on the hair fiber like a grid (physical instead of chemical bond).

The smoothing lipid layer that surrounds the hair shaft is not damaged. The plant fibers form a thin, breathable film over it. In addition, beta-glucan from oats transports all active ingredients with their full effectiveness into the hair. Beta-glucan is known for its moisturizing and regenerating properties. In hair care, it prevents split ends, strengthens the hair fiber and makes it more resistant to hair breakage. In addition, a purely plant-based repair substance in our hair treatments smoothes the roughened surface of the damaged hair fiber, makes it easier to comb and counteracts static charge ("flyaway hair").

How should you use the myrto organic hair treatment?

While you can use the myrto Bio Conditioner on damp hair after every wash, you should knead the rich hair treatment into damp or dry hair less often, usually only 1-2 times a week. To avoid overloading your hair with care products and weighing it down, it's best to be careful with the dosage. Usually 1-2 pumps are completely sufficient - less is more here!

Especially for thick, curly or frizzy, unruly hair, we recommend using the hair treatment as a leave-in treatment so that it remains in the hair without washing it out. To ensure that your hair optimally absorbs the natural active ingredients of the hair treatment, additional heat, e.g. a towel wrapped around the head, is recommended.

Our versatile hair oils

Our hair oils are a versatile leave-in treatment for dry, split-end-prone ends. You can use them alone as a final protection to improve moisture retention. Alternatively, the hair oil can be used to enrich a hair treatment or as a smoothing finish for brittle, statically charged hair. When used regularly, myrto hair oils improve the elasticity of the hair fiber and strengthen the hair structure.

It is important to use the right amount of hair oil: especially with fine hair, less oil on the ends can often achieve better results so as not to weigh down the hair. Oils alone are therefore intended more as a final protection to keep moisture in the hair than as the only care product to provide moisture or suppleness.
