Zinc PCA (Zinc PCA)

Zinc PCA is an antimicrobial zinc salt made from a combination of zinc and pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA). Zinc PCA is 100% plant-based and is obtained from sugar beet. It is a natural component of the skin's own moisturizing system NMF (= natural moisturizing factor) and has moisture-binding properties. Zinc PCA strengthens the skin barrier by stimulating the synthesis of the skin's own lipids in the top layer of skin and improving the organization of the lipid structures. Zinc PCA reduces sebum production, soothes scalp irritations, inhibits acne bacteria and counteracts oily dandruff. Zinc PCA strengthens the hair structure.
