Chamomile flower extract ( Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract) - controlled organic cultivation
The real chamomile (Chamomilla Recrutita) is one of the most valuable medicinal plants. Its effects are also fully recognized by medical experts. The Germanic tribes considered chamomile sacred and dedicated it to the god of light, Baldur. The golden yellow flower head of the chamomile is surrounded by a white halo. The rarely available chamomile CO2 extract is obtained by high-pressure extraction with natural spring carbonic acid (= CO2 liquefied by cold). This process makes it possible to obtain heat-sensitive, natural active ingredients that are lost or heavily diluted in conventional distillates or alcoholic extracts. The CO2 gas escapes completely after extraction. In contrast to extracts from conventional extraction processes, the chamomile extract obtained using the CO2 extraction process contains a very high proportion of alpha-bisabolol and matrix. These bioactive ingredients have a strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, fungicidal, soothing and wound-healing effect, which has been proven by numerous studies.
Chamomile is recommended as a supportive treatment for eczema, especially atopic eczema (neurodermatitis) and in baby care for soreness in the diaper area. Chamomile is also effective for impure skin, acne and dermatitis. The active ingredients in chamomile flowers have been proven to stimulate the skin's metabolism and help to regenerate damaged tissue.
