Tips for using myrto organic hair oils
Whether as a shine finisher, hair treatment, anti-frizz treatment or tip fluid to combat split ends: hair oils are real all-rounders and have extremely versatile uses. Hair oil is not only useful when your hair feels dry, dull or straw-like. Even if you are struggling with flyaway, static-charged hair, split ends or hair breakage, a high-quality hair oil without silicones is the right choice.
Which of the two myrto hair oils is right for you?
If your hair is dull, unruly or frizzy and has been damaged by coloring or styling, you should choose the regenerating Bio Summer Hair Oil. It contains macadamia oil, jojoba oil, babassu oil, olive squalane and coconut oil. The effective combination of cold-pressed organic plant oils helps to better lock in moisture even in extremely dry, structurally damaged or frizzy hair.
If you have fine or thin hair, the Antistatic Hair Oil is the right choice. The light oil serum has a silicone-like hair feel. In addition to a light vegetable carrier oil based on organic coconut oil, it contains a combination of organic argan oil with an antioxidant complex. The Antistatic Hair Oil tames flyaway hair, reduces frizz, provides more shine, better combability, texture and grip, without weighing it down.
How can you use myrto hair oils?
The correct application of a hair oil is of utmost importance. This particularly concerns the time of application, the exposure time and the dosage of the oily elixir.
-
leave-in hair treatment
Instead of a rich hair treatment, you can apply the hair oil to damp hair after washing to strengthen the hair structure and lock in moisture. To do this, take 1-3 drops of hair oil and knead it into the top layer of hair. Avoid the hairline by about a hand's width. Then style your hair as usual or let it air dry. -
Anti-Frizz Treatment
To tame statically charged hair or fly-aways, you can spread 1-3 drops of hair oil on the still damp or dry lengths of your hair, depending on the thickness of your hair. Avoid the hairline by about a hand's width. For fine hair, it is sufficient to simply rub a drop of oil between your hands and then gently stroke the protruding fly-aways. -
UV protection
The Summer Hair Oil consists of plant oils with a natural, light sun protection. This protects your hair from excessive sun exposure. The oily elixir with its vitamins, minerals and antioxidants also protects your hair from damage caused by sea or chlorinated water. -
anti-split end care
The myrto hair oils protect your hair ends from split ends by smoothing the outer cuticle layer of the hair fiber, thus preventing hair breakage and drying out. When using, rub a drop of oil between your fingertips and knead it very sparingly into the dry hair ends. -
shine booster
If you have damaged, curly or thick hair, you can finish your styling with a shine-enhancing hair oil. To do this, rub 1-3 drops of hair oil between your hands. If you have curly hair, knead it in, while otherwise you run your hands through the styled lengths of hair. As with the other applications, avoid the roots by a hand's width. -
Pre-Shampoo Deep Conditioner
For this treatment before washing your hair, you should comb your hair carefully before kneading the hair oil into the dry lengths and ends. Depending on the thickness of your hair, a few drops are enough, or more if you have thick hair. After allowing the oil to work for at least 15 minutes or longer, wash your hair with a gentle shampoo. A second wash may be necessary to remove the excess care products. -
heat protection reinforcement
Even if the myrto hair oils alone do not provide sufficient heat protection when using a hair dryer, straightener or curling iron, they can further increase the heat protection with the myrto Bio Finisher Gels. To do this, work 1 - 3 drops of oil serum into damp or dry hair after the finisher gel before you start heat styling. -
Fixing the hair color after dyeing
After coloring with plant-based hair dyes or chemical colorants, you can also use myrto hair oil to better fix the color. To do this, gently massage the hair oil drop by drop into towel-dried hair - especially into the lengths and ends of the hair. After 30 - 60 minutes, you can wash the hair oil out again with a mild organic shampoo.
It is not always easy to find the right dosage for each application at the beginning - depending on the length and thickness of your hair. If you use too much hair oil, especially at the roots, your hair will be weighed down, the roots will look flat and greasy, and waves or curls will quickly fall out. So be very careful when it comes to the right dosage and application: less is more.
