Argan Cleasung Oil with Avocado

Where does our avocado oil come from?

Avocado trees were cultivated thousands of years ago by the indigenous people of Mexico. The Aztecs used the avocado pulp as a cosmetic for youthful, smooth skin and strong, shiny hair.

Our myrto products use gently, purely mechanically cold-pressed, green oil from the flesh of fully ripe organic avocados. The avocado trees from the highlands of Kenya belong to a community of regional, village small farmers who work according to organic and fair trade guidelines. You can find organic avocado oil, for example, in our Organic Argan Cleansing Cream T or in the Deep Cleansing Oil .

What active ingredients does avocado oil contain?

Avocado oil contains plenty of lecithin, which is a building block of all cell membranes and strengthens the skin barrier. The high content of palmitoleic acid tightens the tissue and ensures good tolerability even on sensitive skin. Vitamins A, D and E stimulate cell renewal, inhibit inflammation, soothe irritated skin and keep it elastic. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and slows down the skin's aging process.

For which skin is avocado oil recommended?

The green superfood plant oil is anti-comedogenic, meaning it counteracts impurities and inflammation. Avocado oil is ideal for sensitive, impure, dry, cracked and flaky skin, as well as for skin problems such as acne, redness, itching and neurodermatitis.
