wheat germ proteins

wheat germ proteins (hydrolyzed wheat protein)
Wheat germ proteins are also known as plant keratin or phytokeratin. They consist of hydrolyzed grain germ proteins that are rich in natural vitamin E (tocopherol) and contain a high proportion of the amino acids proline and glutamine. Wheat proteins form a stabilizing, elastic film around the damaged hair surface and fill the cracks in the porous, structurally damaged hair fiber. Wheat germ proteins have a multiple effect:
- Strengthening the hair fiber: They stabilize, strengthen and reinforce the hair shaft, thus preventing hair breakage.
- Antistatic effect: They prevent static charging of the hair and counteract fly-aways.
- Shine: They enhance the natural shine of hair.
- Volume: they give the hair more natural fullness.
- Moisture: they help keep the scalp and hair hydrated.
- Antioxidant effect: they protect the scalp from damaging external influences caused by free radicals.
- conditioning effect: they improve combability and make the hair supple
