rosemary antioxidant (allergen-free)
Rosemary Antioxidant (Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract) - controlled organic cultivation
Our allergen-free rosemary antioxidant from CO2 extraction is not to be confused with essential rosemary oil. The well-known essential rosemary oil (INCI: Rosmarinus Officinalis Oil) naturally contains fragrances with the allergens limonene and linalool, which must be declared. Essential rosemary oil is produced by steam distillation of rosemary branches. It promotes blood circulation in the skin and irritates sensitive facial skin.
Organic rosemary antioxidant, on the other hand, is free of allergens and other volatile components of essential rosemary oil. The antioxidant contains NO allergens and has NO circulation-promoting properties. With its high content of carnosic acid, it provides powerful protection against premature skin aging caused by oxidative stress. Oxidative changes in the skin surface lipids can be reduced by the extract. Rosemary antioxidant is particularly recommended in anti-aging skin care products (Simona Birtic, Pierre Dussort, François-Xavier Pierre, Antoine C. Bily, Marc Roller, Carnosic acid, Phytochemistry 115 (2015) 9–19).
Rosemary antioxidant inhibits inflammation and has an antimicrobial effect. It is therefore recommended for blemishes and acne as well as reddened skin, couperose or rosacea. Rosemary AO has also been proven to reduce redness and micro-inflammations of the tissue caused by UV radiation. The antioxidant with 25% diterpene phenols is obtained from rosemary leaves by CO2 extraction with natural spring carbonic acid. It is characterized by optimized skin compatibility for sensitive and problematic skin.
Rosemary is also a tried and tested natural remedy for hair and scalp care. In addition to its invigorating and refreshing effect, rosemary can also stimulate hair growth. It improves the scalp's nutrient absorption, thereby strengthening the hair follicles.
