Our organic shampoos now in refillable brown glass bottles
As a manufacturer of high-quality organic natural cosmetics with the best ingredients, we also place the highest demands on the packaging of our products. This is why most myrto products are packaged in glass bottles. The only exception to this was our organic shampoos and the body wash products for the shower area in the airless dispenser made of PP plastic.
Discarded plastic - both large and microscopic - circles the globe, suffocating our oceans and polluting our food supply. Eventually, it finds its way into our bodies, where it can accumulate over time. We all know that we already have a huge environmental problem with plastics and that we need to drastically reduce plastic consumption. But many of us are probably unaware of how serious the consequences are. Did you know, for example, that our oceans could contain more plastic than fish in just 30 years if we do nothing to combat the flood of plastic? Or did you know that in Germany around 3 billion disposable coffee-to-go cups are used every year and often end up in the environment?
In order to avoid plastic as much as possible, we started looking for alternative packaging for our shampoos and shower gels. The result: refillable glass bottles.
The handy, UV-protected brown glass bottles with pump dispensers for practical one-handed use in the shower can be refilled as often as you like from the 500ml storage sizes. With a proportion of over 60% recycled brown glass, they have an excellent ecological balance. We also think that a clean brown glass bottle in the bathroom not only feels high-quality, but also looks good. What do you think?
