Palmarosa (Cymbopogon Martini) belongs to the grass family and grows up to 3m tall. It is native to Nepal, India and Madagascar. The essential oil of the plant, which is also known as Indian geranium, has a rosy-floral and at the same time grassy-fruity scent - with a "soft" heart note. The essential oil is extracted from the palmarosa grass blades by steam distillation.

Palmarosa has a strong effect against bacteria, fungi and viruses. The essential oil is considered to be particularly skin-friendly and tonic. It strengthens the lymphatic system.
