Origin & Production
Palmarosa belongs to the grass family (Poaceae) and prefers tropical climates. Originally native to India, Nepal, and Madagascar, the grass is now cultivated under controlled organic conditions. The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of freshly cut grass stems .
