Lavender Sage (Salvia Lavandulaefolia) - Controlled Wild Collection
Wild lavender sage is much rarer than the official sage (Lavandula officinalis). It grows in the limestone-rich highlands of Provence in southern France, Spain and northwest Africa. Wild lavender sage is harvested exclusively by hand.
The essential lavender sage oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh herb. Its scent is fresh, clear and slightly spicy. Essential lavender sage oil has an anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic effect. The essential oil has a stimulating effect on a mental and psychological level. It helps with stress, strengthens the nerves and combats lack of concentration.
