beta-glucan

The beta-glucan we use is a polysaccharide (complex sugar) from the aleurone germ layer of oats. This powerful natural ingredient strengthens the protective skin barrier and the skin's own immune system. Beta-glucan penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin (dermis), where it binds a lot of moisture for a long time. Beta-glucan from oats has an anti-inflammatory effect, is a strong antioxidant and improves the skin's UV protection .
