Shine finisher, hair treatment, anti-frizz or tip fluid to prevent split ends: hair oils are real all-rounders and versatile. A hair oil is useful not only if your hair feels dry, dull or strawy. Even if you struggle with frizz, hair breakage or split ends, a high-quality hair oil without silicones is the right choice.
Which of the 2 myrto hair oils is right for you?
If you have dull, unruly or frizzy hair that has been damaged by coloring or styling, you should choose the regenerating Organic Summer Hair Oil. It contains macadamia oil, jojoba oil, babassu oil, olive squalane and coconut oil. The effective combination of cold-pressed organic plant oils helps to better lock in moisture, even with extremely dry, structurally damaged or frizzy hair.
If you have fine or thin hair, Organic Antistatic Hair Oil is the right choice. The light oil serum has a silicone-like hair feel. In addition to a light vegetable carrier oil based on organic coconut oil, it contains a combination of argan oil with an antioxidant complex. The Antistatic Hair Oil tames flyaway hair, reduces frizz, provides more shine, texture and grip without weighing it down.
How can you use myrto hair oils?
The correct use of a hair oil is the be-all and end-all. This primarily concerns the time of application, the exposure time and the dosage of the oily elixir.
- Leave-in hair treatment
Instead of a rich hair treatment, you can apply the hair oil to damp hair after washing to strengthen the hair structure and lock in moisture in the hair. To do this, take 1 – 3 drops of hair oil and knead it into the top hair. Leave the hairline about a hand's width away. Then style your hair as usual or let it air dry. - Anti-Frizz Treatment
To tame statically charged hair or fly-aways, you can distribute 1 - 3 drops of hair oil to the still damp or dry lengths, depending on the thickness of your hair. Also avoid the hairline by about a hand's width. For fine hair, it is sufficient to simply rub a drop of oil between your hands and then gently stroke the fly-aways that are sticking out. - UV-Protection
The Summer Hair Oil consists of plant oils with a natural light sun protection. This protects your hair from excessive sun exposure. The oily elixir with its vitamins, minerals and antioxidants also protects your hair from damage caused by sea or chlorine water.
- Anti-split ends care
The myrto hair oils protect your hair ends from split ends by smoothing the outer cuticle layer of the hair fiber and thus preventing hair breakage and drying out. When using, rub a drop of oil between your fingertips and knead it very sparingly into the dry ends of your hair. - Shine booster
Especially if you have damaged, curly or strong hair, you can finish your styling with a shiny hair oil. To do this, rub 1 – 3 drops of hair oil between your hands. If you have curly hair, knead it in while otherwise running your hands through the styled hair lengths. As with the other applications, leave the approach as wide as possible.
- Pre-shampoo deep care
For this treatment before washing your hair, you should comb your hair carefully before kneading the hair oil into the dry lengths and ends. Depending on the thickness of your hair, a few drops are sufficient, but perhaps more if your hair is thick. After leaving it on for at least 15 minutes or longer, wash your hair out with a gentle shampoo. In order to remove the excess care products, a second hair wash may be necessary. - Heat protection reinforcement
Even if the myrto hair oils alone do not offer sufficient heat protection when using a hairdryer, straightening iron or curling iron, they can still increase the heat protection with the myrto Bio Finisher Spays. To do this, work 1 – 3 drops of oil serum into dry hair before using heat styling. - Fixing hair color after dyeing
After coloring with herbal hair colors or chemical coloring, you can also use myrto hair oil to fix the color better. To do this, gently massage the hair oil drop by drop into towel-dried hair - especially into the lengths and ends of the hair. After leaving it on for 30 – 60 minutes, wash the hair oil out with shampoo.
At first it is not easy to find the right dosage for individual applications - depending on the length and thickness of the hair. If you use too much hair oil, your hair will be weighed down, the roots will appear flat and greasy, and waves or curls will quickly hang out. So approach the right dosage very carefully: less is more.
