Amaranth Seed Extract (Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract) - certified organic
As one of very few plant sources amaranth seed extract contains a comparatively very high proportion of natural squalene. Squalene is an essential component in our skin's hydrolipidic film. Due to this fact it is extremely well absorbed by the skin. Squalene significantly improves elasticity and suppleness of the skin and reduces fine wrinkles. With its proven antioxidant properties amaranth extract protects the skin against harmful effects of free radicals. The organic amaranth seed extract we use, was not extracted by traditional mechanical pressure, but solvent-free with natural CO2.
