Lavender Sage Oil (Salvia Lavandulaefolia) - Controlled wild collection
Wild lavender sage is much rarer than the official sage (Lavandula officinalis) and is harvested by hand exclusively. It grows above all in the limestone-containing altitudes in the Southern French Provence, in Spain and in Northwestern Africa.
The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh herb. Its scent is fresh, clear and slightly spicy. Lavender sage essential oil has an anti-inflammatory, anti-spurting and antispasmodic effect. On the mental and psychological level, the essential oil has a stimulating effect. It helps with stress for strengthening nerves and against lack of concentration.
